Population Estimates = sources are listed below:
  • State, County, Local Health District = Utah Governor's Office of Planning and Budget, Years 1980-1999.
  • State, County, Local Health District = National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) through a collaborative agreement with the U.S. Census Bureau, Years 2000 to Present.
  • Utah Small Areas = The population estimates were produced by staff in the Utah Department of Health Center for Health Data and Informatics. Linear interpolation of U.S. Census Bureau and ESRI ZIP Code data provided annual population estimates for ZIP Code areas by sex and age groups
  • Race/Ethnicity = Population Estimates by Age, Sex, Race, and Hispanic Origin for Counties in Utah (2010 Census), U.S. Census Bureau.

Birth = Utah Birth Certificate Database
  • Population-based rates for the state, and Utah's counties and local health districts use GOPB or U.S Census Bureau population estimates
