Where Environmental Data Meets Health Data

The Utah Environmental Public Health Tracking (EPHT) Network is working to develop a state-wide network of health and environmental data that will drive actions to improve the health of communities. Utah is one of 25 states and one local health department funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that comprise a larger national network of EPHT programs that feed into the national Tracking Network.

Utah's EPHT is developed and ran by the Utah Environmental Epidemiology Program (EEP) within the Utah Bureau of Epidemiology. Many datasets that the Utah EPHT Network uses are part of a collaborative effort involving all offices and divisions in the Utah Department of Health.
